Thanks for the compliment JohnAllen. The kilt is wool and the base color is green,sadley the picture doesn't do it justice. More to come. And as for the rest, that was well covered by Episcopalscot.
Thanks for that and the additional info, all I knew was that it was a universal tartan.

Your welcome, Actually the green in your photo looks deeper and more pleasing to me then the one in Rufus's photo, Can you do another close up of the Kilt with good lighting to show the fabric. It looks like a very dark green.
