Andrew, I understand your situation, I would be in trousers in your job too, and on a motorbike, mine is a different lifestyle so it's easier to be kilted.
My son would like to wear a kilt more often but a bicycle is a major part of his life (he has no motor)
As to the future, trousers will always be around, but I would like to see kilts become more accepted and common. (they will always be special, no matter how common).
