My Good Luck
I haven't posted on the forum in some time. However, I felt the need to share my good luck. Last night I was looking on craigslist. As I do on a whim sometimes, I searched Kilt. Low and behold, someone close to me was selling a kilt, sporran, and flashers for $20. To good to be true right. So with an email sent, time picked, I got it this morning. Even better it fits. Nothing like a Lochcarron 8 yard wool kilt and a L&M semi-dress sporran for $20.

Great timing! I can't imagine there are too many kilts for sale on Craigslist.

Somewhere last night I read of Black Watch and Stewart vests in Jos Banks. I stopped in a Jos Banks Premium Outlet and they had 5 Stewarts - no Black Watch. I looked at 3 of them and the largest was a size 42.

Amazing score!
What tartan is that? Looks a bit like the Logan 1831 'Fraser' (quite different from the Allen Brothers Vestiarium 'Fraser').
BTW I'll be in your neck of the woods (out from California) in May visiting Gettysburg and attending the Colonial/Fair Hill Highland Games.
