I would think being a kilted member of the congregation as opposed to being a kilted celebrant probablly would be very different situations. Would they be able discern you are kilted under all the robes and vestments?
It all boils down to if the situation is personally correct for you and your religious practices and beliefs. I support you in your decision no matter which side you fall on.
I feel people are not paying as much attention to us as we think ( or would like) them to do so.
By the way, the minister complimented me on my kilt as he greeted members at the door post services.
