Your big question might also depend on the weight of your kilt, less than a month into Spring, there might be the odd playful wind around !
Technical note: outside the Tropics, seasons run from Solstice to Equinox and Equinox to Solstice !

Im kilted every day. The knees get a lil chilly when the weather goes below freezing.
Not all of Canada is under snow.

This was taken a few minutes ago.

I was working in the garden in shirtsleeves on Sunday and it snowed this morning. More than a 20C drop in temperature! This has been one tenacious winter.

I'm amazed to see that some people wait for summer to wear their kilts.

I live in Atlanta Ga area, and I wear Kilts just about year round. Yes it gets quite cold here like down into the teens and 20s at night and 30s-50 during day. Unless a freak arctic front moves through. I still see others walking around in shorts and heavy jackets which seems weird to me. So I try to still wear my kilts, even though im only going from house to vehicle to wherever store im shopping at then back home again. so being out in the cold a few minutes at time. I just recently bought knee high socks which seems to help some. I don't wear tights or leggings.

I think it is important to remember that there are differing climates between Canada and the South of France ;).
Of course some of us wear the kilt whenever we wish

I would say though that waiting for the weather is no different than waiting for a special occasion for wearing the kilt. By the way the day this photo was taken I was not cold at all and had to actually take off my jacket and balmoral bonnet as it was too warm with them on.

Meanwhile, south of the border in temperate New South Wales, winter will begin on Sunday 1 June, just as it has at least since double Garratts hauled the goods trains over the Blue Mountains to Lithgow. Then spring from 1 September, summer from 1 December, and autumn 1 May.

Fascinating! We have only two seasons: Winter (Freeze-up to Thaw) and Construction (Thaw to Freeze-up).
