Actually this is a new production run and are shipped immediately with order. But when they are gone they are gone!

I am guessing the sizes are based on one's pant size, rather than a true size kilt measurement.

Customer service said it's a measurement at your pants waist location.

Right, their size will relate to the pant size you normally wear which are sized smaller than your actually waist size. For example I measure around my waist 37", but when I buy pants 34" size fit me best, the same with the TDK.

Well then, the CS lady didn't give the proper measuring information. She told me whatever my waist taped at, is what size to order. So I may be disappointed with the fit.

Well fingers crossed it turns out to be a perfect fit.

What I stated was my experience, I gave a 36" stated waist size to someone because it was to big to my 37" waist. Their website says this is a new run for this offering so maybe the stated size is true. You'll see.

I'll see. There's no use in worrying about it. If it's too big, I can eat ice cream and cake until it fits!
