Love the kilts mate. I wish I could come have a pint at your pub

Well done, Glen!
Cracking photos, and I am glad that all who attended had a most joyous time. If we are ever in the area, and it's Tuesday, count us in! Also, The Caledonian is quite reminiscent of my own wee pub back home, The Scottish Arms.
Slainte,

Also, I'd like to say that this is such a wonderful tradition to get going, and I hope it continues well into the future. It would be rather nice if more "like-minded" individuals came together (and not just for Scottish related events, or holidays) and did the very same thing in other cities across North America. I know that some do; especially Scottish associations, organisations, and individuals within the Scottish community of various metropolitan areas. Heck, I remember wearing Highland Dress to my favourite Scottish pub just because I wanted to, and it slowly caught on with other chaps!
The St. Andrew's Society of the Greater St. Louis area (my hometown) have a kilted social every Thursday at The Scottish Arms, which is always a splendid time of fellowship and community. I miss those lovely evenings spent with good mates over a dram or two, and I long for that here in the greater Cincinnati area. For me, it's much more than just wearing the kilt; it's the intriguing and sometimes enlightening conversations you have with your mates, as well as the opportunity to make new ones. Discussions about Scotland, the Highlands and Islands, Highland Dress, whisky, tartan, Scottish history, Gaelic culture and language, etc, are priceless moments that are quite akin to the oral tradition of our Scottish ancestors.
So again, well done on organising this worthy endeavour and keep the photos coming of future Tartan Tuesdays!
Slainte mhath,

Thanks Kyle
Quite to my surprise a reporter from the Oban Times got in touch this morning she has written a short article on it and will be keeping in touch.
