Kingston Scottish Festival
Nathan, McMurdo, Crash and myself went to the Kingston Sottish Festival today. There were the usual bands, dancing and strongman competitions, but this picture sums it up for me. Nathan has one of the most charming smiles I have seen. Here he is with the X-Marks quaich.

It was mixed. A few drops of rain, a bit of sun. Thunder and dark clouds interspersed with bright clear patches. Cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon. The grounds were a little soggy from rain the previous day. The rain came down hard, as predicted by the met office at around 3PM, but for less than 10 minutes.

I had that very Quaich in my hands Monday before last, when I packed it in its box and took it to the post office to send it on its way to Toronto. This 'Quest of the Quaich' is amazing. Thanks Steve. I can't wait to see more pictures of the Quaich at the Kingston Scottish Festival.

Farmer Jones, it was a pleasure meeting you yesterday. What a wonderful day it was though we did have such varied weather rain and overcast one moment bright sun and hot the next. I am uploading my photos from the day and will start a Quest of the Quaich thread shortly.

(psst - do I spy a pocket square?) Just a wind-up. Looking good, as always. By-the-by, considering no images of the rest of Alpha Flight, did it happen?

Ok dumb question time: How does one actually use a quaich? Is it a communal pour that is passed or poured individually or what?
BTW, this is a grand thing the forum is doing.
