My parents were both in the US Army. Although they did not die in the service of their country, they served and are remembered both for their military service and on a personal front as my family. My father spent 34 years in the Army, and saw action in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. My mother was a surgical nurse in the Army Nurse Corps during WWII, and she served in field hospitals in England, France and Belgium. I miss them very much.
