Point taken Tobus. Just know, that here in the Pacific NW, if you showed up kilted, and I do mean in any way, traditional or modern, you'd be accepted and welcomed into most communities with a greeting, handshake and hearty respect. (Yes, even at the hardware store, with sporran and tartan... 
). And, we've got a lot of western hat wearing, worn boot, hard workin types here too. Not the same "cut" as them Texas boys tho....
