One of my kilt photos was stolen! But I don't mind, LOL.

I'm not registered on Facebook, and usually have no reason to look at anything on there. But fellow XMTS member MacKenzie pointed out to me that I'm on Facebook anyway. It seems that they lifted one of my photos that I posted here on XMTS and posted it up on the Book of Faces for their own amusement.

I don't know any of these people, including the person who posted my photo (apparently "Wild Eyed Southern Celt" is a girl from Georgia). But I had to laugh at being called the "Kilted Hottie of the Day". And some of the comments from those women made me blush! The photo has over 260 "likes" and over 50 "shares".

What's really funny is that if I had been wearing my usual blue jeans and cowboy boots in that photo, it would be uninteresting. But do it in a kilt, and suddenly the women really really like it. Funny stuff, the power of the kilt!

Yeah, riding him is a bit of a challenge. Especially bareback. It's a long way up and a long way down when you've got no stirrups! I had to stand on a picnic table to get onto his back. But the dismount was the really interesting part. Dropping from that height pretty much ensures that one's pleats will fly up, and no matter how you do it, you're going to drag your bare flesh down the side of the horse on the way down.

He's a Percheron named Tristan. Really sweet guy, and very docile. All the other regular-size horses push him around and pick on him. His best friend and pasture buddy is actually a miniature pony. They look pretty silly hanging out together. He really is a huge horse - his head probably weighs more than I do.

What's funny is that one of the comments on that Facebook page said something about Texas thinks it's big, but they ain't seen Scotland. She doesn't realise that this photo is of a Texan on a horse in Texas.

Yes, I saw that and thought it funny too.

He's beautiful, and I can quite believe he's docile, he even has a very friendly placid look on his face!
