One of my best mates, Mr. James Adamson (staunch Clan Mackintosh clansman) of St. Louis, Missouri, and now of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; originally hails from British Columbia and attended university in Prince George. We have been mates since junior high when his family moved to the States. I have fond memories of traveling throughout Canada with James. And when all of our fellow classmates traveled south to sunny, Mexican beaches for spring break during our senior year of high school; what did James, myself, and a few other mates decide to do? Why, we headed up north to ski at Whistler-Blackcomb in BC, of course! Man, I'll never forget those wonderful memories and times spent in Canada.
Cheers,

A very Happy Canada Day to all. I am a proud Canadian and spent the day moving my sister and nephew. My grandfather gave my dad a choice when they left Scotland that choice was Canada or Australia. I am happy that my dad chose Canada. There is much to be proud of about this country and though the weather might play havoc on us from time to time ie. winter. I would not have it any other way.

Without a doubt I would have made the same decision, Kyle. I hate the heat.

I am not overly keen on the heat either, but Canada Day falls during the hottest, most humid time around here. I spent the day at the beach, barbequing to raise funds for the food bank. Now after a day of lively festivities, intense heat and humidity and barbeque smoke, I am too cooked to watch the fireworks.
Anyway, Happy Canada Day all.
