The ONLY way that I would wear one to an interview in the United States would be if the company was blatantly Scottish or Irish, or the main products were the same.

It's one thing to be a "trendsetter" in the social world... it's another to be that way at an interview when the job market is as lowsy as it is now.

I guess you need to put yourself in the seat of the company interviewer too. Being employed is more important to me than the ability to wear a kilt. Tartan can't pay the bills.
