I'll add this picture, which I've not seen before on X Marks, to illustrate a different type of footwear worn with THCD.

Ah yes, wellies. A very practical type of footwear for wet, mucky weather, as shown by Sandy in the second pic of post #12. The photo you've shared shows the boots a bit more clearly though
