seaside games
We only got to one day at the seaside games. We had planned for two but when we got to the gate on Saturday we were informed the policy had been changed and now the ticket was only good for the day you participated but it was a plus one ticket. unfortunately we all threw on the same day (sunday)so that didn't do us any good. It was an extra game and we really hadn't budgeted for it so paying the extra 50 at the door for the 3 of us wasn't a option. I sorry we missed seeing everyone. I do enjoy shooting all the classes. I took a lot of shots (1,400) over the weekend which if I had been shooting the games on saturday would have made the number truly silly. I will put up a few of those which I think are the good. I don't know who the moderators are for this forum so if what I am proposing to do violates a rule let me know and I'll un-offer. There isn't room to put up the nearly a thousand shots I did of the games themselves here so I have downloaded them to my website johncharleshansen.zenfolio.com which is capable of dealing them. I am not selling them. They are free to any who want them. If any of those who expressed interest in getting pictures want to go to the website, look at the seasidegames file, mark the number of the photo/photos you want and message or email me I will send them to you on email. Do not download them from the site because the site itself has a cost to download. I did get good shots of everyone on sunday so if you don't see yourself here they will be there. Plus I'll send them as larger files if you want them for more than internet. Also if you don't have the capacity to edit photos let me know and those that need editing I will happily do for free (cropping/adjusting color and light (It was bright) etc. I am in the middle of rehearsals so it may take me at least a few days if you need editing. Again I hope this doesn't violate any rules but I couldn't find who moderates this section to ask so if it does let me know. and now the pictures.

not sure how I managed to attach it instead of it being the first shot. I guess it's still an old man using one of these new fangled contraptions. Also it takes 7 hours to download that many pictures so the seaside file won't be up until tomorrow. One last thing since they are not for sale I will put a password protect on the file so no one else who comes on the site can see them except the athletes. password "ventura"

Now that is a gallery of photos to take pride in. How many events did you and your crew compete in? Good job to you all and thanks for sharing.

Fabulous pics. Brings back happy memories of my visit to the Ventura Seaside Games during a once in a lifetime trip to California.
