My breast cancer walk/run outfit is the pink Stewart tartan from Sport Kilt. My wife is a 9 yr survivor.

The Pink Stewart certainly looks less kitschy than the variation known as Mary Queen of Scots.

Hmmm, someone whose supporters form one side in a five year civil war, regent's consort of France, regent of Scotland, considered by some as the legitimate regent of England, has their spouse murdered then goes on to marry the main suspect. So, let's design a tartan in the name of this big time political player. Oh I know, she's a woman so let's make it pink.

This thread has gone from wearing a kilt to a breast cancer run/walk to attending a black tie charity ball. A wonderful testament to the versatility of the kilt. I have worn kilts in several runs almost always wear a kilt to black tie events. In both cases I think a kilt adds to the festivities. I have never had an unpleasant comment. Quite to the contrary, I receive compliments and questions and I now have a couple of other gentlemen joining me, kilted, in these events!!
