What goes in, must come out is the problem McRoy. There have been the (asked and answered) segments in General Kilt Talk section on this topic (from standing to sitting to camping squats). That's the place to look.
Personally, I walk into a latrine and whistle a rousing, "Johnny Comes Marching Home Again", the mild-mannered flee, the brave salute and the crazies join in the chorus. I've never had a back-splash moth problem yet.

One more reason to wear an underkilt (slip-like garment) or underwear with wool kilts...won't do much for splashback but helps with dribbles. See sweat also attracts moths so best to remain serene while kilting in wool.

I've taken to wearing matching tartan boxers under my kilts. Always good for a laugh when asked what you've got under there and very practical. Not one for going "regimental" as from a hygiene standpoint at one time people didn't bathe either and most of us do not hold to that as tradition either. ;-)

A while back was wearing tartan boxer shorts under my kilt at work. Got called in by management and confronted. They said one of my clients reported being somehow able to see my tartan boxer shorts under my kilt. I cracked up...they were all serious about it while most of the agency's teen male clients were showing up to four inches of tartan boxer shorts above their low slung jeans....let me up folks... let me up.

I would love to be more 'traditional" while wearing my kilt. However, cancer radiation treatment four years ago has made that mostly improbable. At my age one does not assume trouble with controlling bodily functions. But adult diapers are now a daily necessity for me. As a result, I have to wear underwear with my kilt mainly to hide the diaper. I would be terribly embarrassed should I have an emergency while wearing my kilt (and say nothing about ruining the most expensive item of clothing that I own LOL) . But, I am alive, which is a good thing, and I can at least joke about the situation now. So to all of you men and women who can and do wear your kilts traditionally, my hat is off to you. Enjoy.

Hey Kilted Tom....I'm guessing kilts "hide" the fact that a person is wearing adult diapers a lot better than pantz do. Kilts should be standard issue for guys in need of adult diapers...not so obvious - probably hide the fact completely. And easier access to change too.
