All these great sporrans are very inspiring. As soon as my new hip heals I'll get down to my workshop to get going on the sporran for the MOD cantle I picked up.

Mine is sporran #5 that OCR kindly presented in post #1. It's a mottled pig skin, and I make a point to wear it at all the Highland games I attend (as long as it's not raining).

Fantastic sporrans all.....its great seeing them all on one area....the possibilities are endless. .....We in Scotland seem slow on the uptake when it comes to our national dress / costume.
I myself have started to try and make a brass cantled sporran out of old brass sheet found in the corner of my father's garage. ...must be 30 years old at least....but I can't muster the money for the ones you have all posted. ..never done metal work in my life and scavenging to get parts to adapt to make it...so far it has cost £ 1.95... the cost of soft solder... but I now have a working frame and will post photos when I work out how.
keep up the good work.
