You know, I've yet to make it to Fremont and the old downtown, and this was our sixth trip to Las Vegas together (we eloped to Vegas 20 years ago) I'll make it a point to check it out the next time we go.
Along the new strip, this was the first time I'd seen all the Halo MasterChiefs and Transformers and cartoon characters, ala Hollywood Boulevard. I think I saw the same Batman. There wasn't any of it when we last went, five years ago.
My wife offered to take a picture of me kilted with two street-side showgirls, but I declined. I was afraid I might have to endure yet another sales pitch!
