How did this happen?!?
My son turned 8 today, and went out on a dinner date with his favorite aunt. He got to wear his birthday outfit. My question is: how the Sam Hill did he get a kilt before his da?!

If he went out with your sister on his birthday dinner date, it is her job to under-mine all your parenting efforts as payback for being related. That's what my sister would do, and enjoy every minute. The lad does look cool and comfortable and ready for the outing.

You're going to have to step up your game. It seems since you have no kilt, the lad is better dressed than his old man and he's only 8!

Indeed. She's actually my sister in law, but it still holds true. I'm hoping wifey has taken the hint and buys me a kilt for Christmas.
