Cool to kilt or not to kilt

It took me a while but I found this nifty kilt/M.U.G. I think it's very masculine, trendy and functional. I have been pondering something like this for a while, but this gent beat me to it. just wished I had the means/skills etc, etc, to make one for my self. I know it might be unorthodox, but I think it's a good rig. I enjoy wearing bib overalls because of the pockets,no belt, and loose fit what better then to have it kilted.best of both worlds. Guilty Kilts a few years back (based in London, but out of business) who made this interpretation of the kilt... almost like a 'kilt dress'... They mostly sold to the alternative scene, London Pride etc., so never really got a foot in the door as a contemporary kilt seller, despite having a store in London, their sky-high prices and questionable poses of those modelling their gear probably kept most away and was their undoing... Cheapest 'kilt' was around £200. Most of the kilts were pleated though. They disappeared around 2009, IIRC.

Wow. Accurate right down to the armband tattoo and the single fastened strap. <<Insert your favorite quote from the movie Deliverance here>>

LOL!! Great movie, BTW.... I've been resisting the urge to post for a day now - just reviewed the forum rules and I'm pretty sure my opinion would break at least 2 or 3 of them! LOL!!!

Apparently my post was offensive to some, and broke a forum rule. I am sorry about that. I live just a few miles from where that movie was made, and the majority of men around here own a pair of overalls, and wear them that way. I didn't mean any offence, and I certainly won't be offended if the mods want to delete the post.

Tom, we don't delete. We sometimes quarantine. If you want to delete it yourself, just edit it to include the words "Comment deleted by OP."
