Im glad to see you sorted it as apparently most people support the right of the owners to do what they like if they feel if will offend people /
Its funny how some things bother people and then the same thing dos',t even turn a head to others .

Cizinec; where fore art thou? Has thee been taken hostage perchance when thou appearedest again at the Pub? Do we need to unleash our swords to free thee from those dastardly heartless folks?

LOL. I got a call and had to make an emergency visit to my folks. This weekend I have drill in Texas. I'll try to make it in this week. That's why I was so frustrated. I never get to go out with my wife (who is now out teaching a class).

Hope your folks are doing well, now.
Get out your planners and set a Date Night. You both need a night out together. I know it was Valentine's Day last weekend, but you can choose to celebrate each other whenever you want / need to do so. Sharpen your pencil and find an evening to followup.
We would love to join you, but it's your date, so have fun! And get them to take pictures for us!

The only thing missing from my experience was Rod Serling. My wife called to double check the dress code and the fellow on the phone very defensively said I was okay to wear a kilt.
So off we go.
We walk right in, no problem. A guy looked at me and walked over to another fellow and he kept pointing at me and talking. So, I thought, here we go. The fellow he was talking to walked up, said, "I'm Scott, I'll be your server." I ordered , not even looking at him, really. My wife said, "Okay, our server is wearing a Utilikilt. I looked over and, sure enough, he was. He never mentioned his kilt and I never mentioned mine.
All of a sudden, a pub regular walks up and says, " Scott, why are your wearing a kilt?" Scott told him kilts are comfortable and he likes wearing his. Then the regular looks at me and says, " Why is this guy wearing a kilt? We can wear kilts? I would have worn my kilt too!"
I expected to go in, grab a beer and report back that, yes, they let me wear a kilt. To be served by a guy in a kilt? I'm still not sure I didn't dream this.

It seems that all is well that ends well. That is a perfect result all round. Well done all.

Not sure if I am replying in the right spot, but now at this link https://www.facebook.com/bakerstokc?sk=reviews under the person Charles Holm, the reply from the management is this: Baker St. Pub & Grill - Oklahoma City Hi Charles Holm We were made aware of an incident were a gentleman was turned way recently because he was wearing a Kilt. Let me assure you that this is Not the policy of our Pub or as a company. We have addressed the issue our staff and re-educated them on our dress code policies. Thank you for leaving your review and comments.
You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!
