    A kilted man in Cuba

I am taking a trip to Cuba with a group Free Masons. I am thinking of taking a kilt along to wear in the Lodge. My question is has any of the rabble worn a kilt in the land of free rum.

Not Cuba, but Cancun area of Mexico....folks loved it and the vendors hollered out, "Hey William Wallace!"

I was in Cuba about a month ago. Most of the time kilted.
The reactions, if any, were mostly just curious or "thumbs up" -type. Quite many recognised it as "Scottish?" (with the question mark).
One instance I got some shouting like "pretty girl..." (in Spanish, my friend translated, I do not understand Spanish). It was on the yard of a church...
On the other hand there was also *thumbs up* "very macho" -reaction.
