No, my wife and I will be attending two operas in Ft. Worth, HamletSaturday and La Traviata Sunday. If things hold as in the past, I'll be the only one wearing a kilt at either performance. But --- several people spoke to me about the kilt last year, one even saying if he had known he would have worn his. We'll see.

Then I'll see you at the Scottish Festival in Arlington.

Because of my usual travel schedule this same time each year, I will not be able to attend, unfortunately.

I've been following the weather forecast for the weekend and it's up to a 90% chance of rain for Saturday and Sunday...

Shaun - weather forecast sounds like a repeat of San Antonio :-) Forecast for Texas weather are just a wild guess! I'm only 10 miles away so I'll make it sometime on Saturday - between the rain (?)

I was planning to go, but since it's such a long drive, I may skip this year if it's going to be that wet.

See you there, John.
Cizinec, you never can tell about the weather here... The forecast was about the same for the San Antonio games, but though it rained Saturday night and Sunday morning before the gates opened, it didn't rain during the event. That said, I'll be bringing my rain gear, Wellies and golf umbrella!
P.S. As hard packed as the ground is there, I can't foresee mud being much of an issue.

We are definitely driving from Austin to that area and planning to be at the festival about 12 to 3 on Saturday. Rain will change that. Sunday we have too much on our schedule to make the event.

Given the likelihood of heavy weather, and thus, light attendance, I've decided not to make the trip.
I thought about going and not convening, but because I'd be inconveniencing a family member who'll be taking care of our girl in my absence, it feels selfish to go for no reason other than to hang out with XMarks crew.
Darn it all! I so look forward to these events!
I hope the weather will be better than predicted, and that your tents survive the weather. Ken, you can begin the seven years of grief you've promised now.
Hope to see you all at Kerr County, or Salado.
Cheers,

Shaun - we are going to miss you. Of course we'll be huddled in our tents while it raining and lifting our flasks a time or two.
