Received my Dalrymple tartan by Marton Mills from UPS today. UPS charged me USD 101.25 in brokerage fees. It's been a long time since I was into international trade, but I'm think the brokerage fees cover both any tar riff paid, and a commission for handling the customs transaction. Any thoughts?

I paid MM GBP 542.10 for the tartan. At today's exchange rate that comes to USD 844.70. What I paid UPS on delivery is not 25% of the actual cost. On the packing slip MM declared the value to be GBP 254.38, less than half what I actually paid. (I have no problem with that.) at today's exchange rate that's USD 396.35. The fee paid to UPS is close to being 25% of that. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm happy to have my tartan.
