American help needed to contact 5.11

One of the snaps just fell off my TDK (The female half) and it has been impossible to contact them from Spain. Three attempts at sending an email failed and I can't dial the US Freephone number from Spain. Could someone be good enough to contact 5.11 on my behalf? The Freephone given is 1 866 451 1726.

I am assuming the stud is easy enough to bash back on with a hammer or something?

If you will post a picture of the place on the kilt where the snap is and also the broken part I will see if I can contact 5.11 and have them look here.

I just spoke to a very nice lady at 511 tactical. She tells me that it is ok for me to forward her email address via PM.

When you contact them you will need your original order number from when you purchased the kilt.

Please contact me via PM for the email address.

I bought it from Military 1st in the UK back in May, but all I want is to be able to repair it.

5.11 generally takes good care of their customers AFAIK, but to be honest I'd never bother sending an inexpensive bit of clothing back to the manufacturer for an issue like this. Those are probably line 24 snaps and can be easily replaced by anyone with two hands and a hammer. Any half decent sewing supplier, either B&M or online, should have a snap kit that includes the tool for setting them. Over here in the colonies a package of 5 or 7 snaps + the tool is about 10 bucks. You can easily find them in an antique brass finish which, while it won't be an exact match, should look just fine.

They are supposed to be sending a couple of replacements, just waiting on the post. I wouldn't send it back, the postage would be too much, I wouldn't have a clue where to find such things in Spain. I have a press for replacing watch backs, that should do the trick once they arrive.
