I will be there (and dragging my sweet husband along too- he doesn't get out much and doesn't know what to expect)... I'm extremely excited, this will be my first Highland Games!! I look forward to it immensely and I know I will feel welcomed and at home with fellow Scots/ descendants. I've planned this trip since May and I've still got work to do to get our 1740s Highland outfits presentable!!

We are coming in sometime Friday, driving from Jacksonville AL (Google maps tells me just over 2 hrs drive). I'm not sure what time we'll be getting in. We are staying at Stone Mountain Inn Friday and Saturday nights and will definitely be at the games all of Sat & Sun, planning on meeting up at the Scottish Tartans Museum tent to meet some of you in person! I hope we will get to hang out at the tavern as well.

    Did I mention I'm excited?!?!!
