I don't have a digital camera.
I do have a disposeable camera that I plan to get developed soon and get a photo CD.
Been a fun day. Been down town having fun, drinking coffee in the coffee shop, hanging out, and living for the moment.
The kilt is a USAK Philabeg in the Douglas tartan.
Fun moments.
The usual questions...
Meeting a very old man who was a member of the Blackwatch. He saluted me. He packed his kilt away a long long time ago and didn't wear it so he could "fit in" in America. He says he is going to go home and unpack his old kilt, and he hopes it still fits.
Watching a woman talking on her cell phone and eyeballing me. She walked right into the railing around the greenery that lines the street downtown and fell face first into the bushes. Whoops! What does she wear under her skirt? A thong.
Getting mobbed in the General Store. Lots of people asking somewhat different questions. Mostly health related. Not sure how that happened. It started with one salesman and wound up being a dozen or more people.
I haven't even had my kilt one day and I have discovered "kilt farts." Ew. I can trap a rotten fog and if I am careful, move with it. And then fluff my pleats to turn the evil within upon the world. It is a truly terrible thing to do. Wife insists and swears on everything that's good and holy that one of my toots lifted the back of my kilt. I dunno... Might have. She doesn't seem as though she was joking. Could be the next big craze at the Highland games...
Never have I been more comfortable in my whole life.
