My Halloween Plan for my Kilts..

    ....was...

....not to wear any of them!

Not at the school where I work (where I was Robin Hood)

Not at my friend's Halloween Party (where I was Daredevil)

Not at my Scottish Country Dance Class Party (where I was John Steed and my Flame Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess was Mrs. Peel)

While I have incorporated kilts and highland themes into costumes before and I make a great Macbeth if I do say so myself(see photographic proof here! http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...macbeth-54141/ ) Halloween is a time for costumes. Highland attire is clothing and I can wear it every other day of the year

    Cheers

    Jamie

Panache, you and your lady look dashing as always. I agree with you about Highland attire. However, Jacobite era clothes are a touch too archaic to be normal every day clothing.
