I've never needed anything beyond my sporran (which is very roomy) but then again I'm not wearing my kilts while working on a ranch!

My sporran is plenty big for the stuff I carry around (while kilted or no) which isn't much: wallet, keys, change pouch, and humongous phone (it's kinda embarrassing). With that stuff in there, I still have room for a bottled water and what-not.

With the Pipe Band I have to wear their sporran, which is the traditional ordinary size. I end up using the pockets of the Band waistcoat to hold stuff that won't fit in the sporran.

Anyhow here's the sporran I usually wear, shown with the sort of stuff I might have out at a Highland Games (except for the phone, which is taking the photo!)

This stuff pretty much disappears inside

How about a bit more of a challenge? A bottled water and a big bottle of beer (11" tall and 9" in circumference)

No prob! Both can go in easily (the bottled water can go much further in that it is here)

    The sporran in action
