    I think you'll be quite happy with the finished product. It goes quite well with that Mackenzie kilt. Here is a conversion I did on a very similar colored jacked a couple of years ago. (To long-time members, sorry for the repeat photo.)

    Looks great. I have two of these jackets I want to convert. Just haven't pulled the trigger... yet.
