Well, only got hold of Gil, he votes for lunch or early afternoon. Works for me; other voices? Olde Blind Dog
I don't know, Meehan's didn't seem that amusing. May have had something to do with being packed to overflowing
and more noise than jet engines. I'll check back with Leprechaun, and see if I can twist Jim's arm to get him into
town. Kinda doubtful.
I liked the Celtic vibe of Meehans, but wouldn't want to go there if the crowd and band would be there like the 17th.
I appreciate you calling around. I was debating calling things off due to lack of interest.

Hey, guys. Sorry I've been a bit distracted what with trying to get myself gainfully employed again.
Lunch would work best for me, as well.
I've enjoyed Meehans when it was quiet, but I agree that on St. Paddy's it was not the best place to be. Of course there may not have been a best place to be. There are a number of options around the North side of the Perimeter (which I'm assuming is centrally located for us all)
- 5 Seasons Brewing Co.
- Ship & Anchor
- The Pub Perimeter
- Dunwoody Tavern
- The Brass Tap
Craig Jones

I think North of the Perimeter is central to those that are going. I'm NW of Atlanta, tripleblessed is (i believe) NE of Atlanta. I've no idea where Gil would be coming from.
I have no experience with any of those places. Ship & Anchor and Dunwoody Tavern appear to be owned by the same group, with nice websites. Reviews of The Pub Perimeter mention staff in kilts, so that sounds fun as well.
So, we have it narrowed to Saturday for lunch, I guess, picking blindly, that I vote for The Pub Perimeter?

Heard back from Leprechaun, he's out of town on business, home Tuesday. Sends regards to all. He did take a kilt on his trip for Tartan Day. Gil is in Peachtree Hills, a little south of St. Philip's Cathedral; I will be fetching him. Didn't get Jim (the scot), he's working more these days. People forget he's retired. Sent an e-mail. Doubtful, but maybe. Oneish? Noonish?

I'm more of a oneish kinda guy, but Gil mentioned a preference for lunch, so noon probably is grand.
