A newer feature of the little garden railroad I have set up in my backyard is an aerodrome.

I couldn't resist having this fly in

    Cheers

This is the only part of the set up that relates to Firefly, and more photos would be a digression from the topic.

If anyone is interested in the model of the Serenity, it is actually from a special edition of the game Yahtzee I got on Amazon. The ship is the dice storage container/dice cup. It isn't 100% perfect, but for $18 it was well worth the price. The little figure of Captain Reynolds does not come with it.

    Cheers

Sorta.... they have had shows like it and since, but still don't get it. Almost Human got screwed by their reordering the episodes in 2013, so they haven't learned anything.

It's Fox, and Firefly was Sci-Fi. Look at the list of excellent Sci-Fi shows Fox killed and you will note many of them didn't actually have BAD ratings. Almost Human, Firefly, Dollhouse, Alien Nation, Mellinium, Brimstone.....

Fox seems to expect the immediate runaway hit like X-Files was, but they forget the huge numbers of channels on TV much less the online offerings.

You all know that the Firefly "Serenity" does a fly-by cameo in the new Ron Moore "Battlestar Galactica" right?

Put in disc #1 miniseries episode 1 and watch out the window at time stamp 14:44.

I love the entire series. The dialogue, the Chinese cuss words, and of course the ladies. I mean how brilliant is the notion of a sci-fi western? It's truly a tragedy that it "got humped" by Fox. Gorram it.
