Took the Roach (2015) on a tour of the village where our part of the family resided in CB. Was given a grilling in a shop by a local weaver on colours names. Her interest waned when she heard we've lots of cloth to provide to our local relatives.

My USA Kilt Semi-Trad in XMTS tartan was my kilt for this Friday. Had a number of encounters this work day. The first from a woman who had inherited a house in my community I manage. It was the first time she had seen me kilted when she came in to the office’ seeing it asked somewhat snarly “what’s up with the kilt?” Is something showing I asked? Dead silence so I just commented, I do a take-off on casual Fridays and do Kilted Fridays.
Our meeting went well. When she left with a cheery, “enjoy your kilted Friday and have a good weekend.”
Later I was surveying the work of our contactor replacing our tennis courts. It was their lunch period. One of the workers exclaimed, Oh my gosh a kilt! He went on about his mother who had been Scottish, bagpipers and hoped for a trip to Scotland. His name, James Robertson. A family tie as my Mum’s mum was a Robertson, with a brother named James.
Later in the day checking on a new paver pad for some park benches in one of our sitting areas, a resident there asked about the kilt. I explained Kilted Fridays, and his wife kept nodding as she knew about them.
A good Kilted Friday!
Drusilla welcomes Dad, home for the weekend.

My Kilted Friday Adventure was underwhelming:
I went and picked up some Chinese take out for the family. Then sat in the office and did homework <sigh>

Mael is right. Even more underwhelming, would be answering the door, while wearing pants, when the Chinese take-out is delivered, by the same person you tip the average amount to, three other nights of the week.
Pretty exciting being kilted on a Friday and briefly loose on the streets while foraging for dinner.

I put this together to attend a birthday dinner for one of my wife's girlfriends. I was the only man in the company of 6 women. Several random women (co-workers, church members and old friends of the group) came to visit our table. I stood and greeted women so often, I didn't get one wrinkle in my pleats. A great night for all of us.
