USA Kilts through Amazon.com?

Well the Kilt came in last night, right in the delivery window, and it's a beauty. Great contact with Rocky and his staff, even through what was supposed to be a festival weekend for them. Sorry for the goofy grins, but I was having a great time verbally sparring with my wife, who's getting used to the look on me. Both of my Huskies also seem to like it and are anxiously waiting the maiden voyage, so to speak, so they can log a bunch of miles out walking.

This site has been a great resource for understanding more about some of the mores that go with the kilt. Like my great enthusiasm that I had ordered a pair of hose to come with the kilt, through the Amazon store, so didn't have a lot of direct contact with USA Kilts personnel about my choice. Then two hours before receiving my kilt I was reading about how wearing white hose is a tad passe' these days, along with matching the hose flashes to your kilt, unless you're a piper or have military dress proscriptions. Back to the online store

Regardless, the shirt was a parental gift from my home town and alma mater, and the colors work beautifully... if you're trying to match... which I've also heard is kinda passe...

You know, I've determined that completely bollixing social customs is almost a super power of mine...
