Bobbie did a great job. For those that are interested, the kilts were worn by pipers of the 16th Bn CEF.

I think that's it is amazing what we can contribute to an historic occasion like this well done Steve and Bobbie I am humbled by your contribution to an event that helped to define Canada as a nation and I am humbled and honoured to be a Canadian of Scottish descent and and a member of this forum!! I love the looks of the rosettes. I do have a couple of questions though. When is it appropriate for the to be worn and who is it appropriate for?

Beautiful work.
I'd point out the Vimy and all other memorial events, are "comemorations" for those involved with those events. There is nothing to "celebrate" about war....

Just an FYI, I will be attending the Vimy memorial and a friend also attending found this and told me, as I don't know that I would have found it myself, you must register to attend the Vimy event by February 28th or be denied access, so visit http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/rememb...00-anniversary
