NFT London
Went to the National Film Theatre on the South Bank in London with my husband and a friend. Wore my old lightweight tartan kilt - very comfy when seated in the theatre. Walked across the River Thames on the northern of the two Golden Jubilee Bridges to see London all lit up and then met our friend for a coffee before the film. As London is such a wonderful cosmopolitan city, wearing a kilt hardly rates as unusual but did get some positive comments.
Don't know if I jinxed the theatre but two-thirds through the film the power failed in the projection room and the show had to be abandoned. Have just heard that there will be re-run next Saturday lunchtime so will find out what happens at the end of the story. Ho hum. Will have to get kilted again!
It was good to see London filled with people enjoying themselves again after the tragic incident on Wednesday at the Houses of Parliament. #LondonPride
