I have to say that USA Kilts did quite a fine job with the pleating as the variation to the sett looks rather striking, better I think than I could have asked for. How did you request the pleating? Or did you leave it to the artisans at USA Kilts to use their eye for the best finished appearance? I ask as I have seen a wildcat pleated to the sett that incorporated to wider, light brown band along the vertical and it seemed to have over accented the pattern; likely due to the double white line on either side of the brown being nearly the full width of the pleat.
So what I'm seeing is the keeping the full sett in the vertical, and losing the wide light brown along the horizontal looks terrific ... and how did you know to request that? And I must say, I'm really loving that design.
