The best boots I ever had was a pair of Corcoran jump boots. I wore those things almost every day for close to 10 years.Right now I have some standard issue type leather combat boots that I've worn alot for the last 5 years. They need resoleing but otherwise are in good shape. Those sneaker styles just don't appeal to me. To my eye they look kinda cheap.
