I listen to the war heroes, the thank the Lord I am still here. I guess I feel much better around veterans than I do those who never served.
I understood it enough as an FMF Corpsman serving after Vietnam, taking care of Vietnam Vets, to know I never wanted to go to war. Thankfully I never did.
