I thought, at first glance Graham, that the kilt has a double fringe, but there is no mention of that on the website. However, it does tell us that the fabric is Acrylic - not wool. That tells me everything I need to know - and explains the pricing!
Acrylic? hard to imagine, poly vis I'll wear but not sure about acrylic.
My next kilt is wool, natural fabrics are really nice.
I too like natural fabrics Graham, and though people who's opinion I trust shout out the virtues of poly-vis I would like to personally see a kilt made from it first before I commit to a kilt made from it.
