Regimental ties yea ye do or nae ye don't

I served in The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment). It's the the only Regimental tie I wear, my Grandfather served in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, I feel a certain connection, but not enough to wear their Regimental Tie.

I will have my Regimental tie on this Sunday together with my Hunting Stewart trews and waistcoat. It will be to commemorate the 75th anniversary of two RAF training aircraft in Scottsdale Arizona.
