Yes, you're right. I don't want to give anyone the idea that it's always miserably hot at the San Francisco Games. 2017 was an anomaly. It can be very warm some years, but as often as not it's very pleasant- the games ARE in Pleasanton!
Completely true. Our daughter's wedding was a few weeks before, & just a few miles away. It was unusually hot for the date. The opposite was two weeks before, the date the wedding should have occurred (scheduling goof by the venue). It was almost 20 degrees cooler than the norm'.
