    The "look at me aspect" is not a concept I would ever seek or endorse and I sure most kilt wearing Scotsmen would feel the same. For that very reason I tend to wear muted tartans on a daily basis. Sure I am as happy as anyone to accept any compliments people choose to make, but particulary in the context of a church congregation, each week it is mostly the same people and any novelty value will have worn off by the second viewing. I think I am more likely to attract comments locally if I wasn't kilted, people get used to it.
    If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
