    OP, another savings to consider is shipping.

    USAkilts offers $2.99 flat rate shipping within the US and they are lot closer than anything in the UK should you have to have any work done on the kilt (shipping it back). This is why I try to avoid buying too much from the UK, in addition to the exchange rate not being in our favor.

    I do not have a wool kilt from them yet but I like my USA Kilts semi traditional kilt a lot and will certainly buy my 8 yarder from them when the time comes.
