    Being single for 30 years and kilted for a bunch of them I've found kilts embolden single ladies...they approach me and ask all sorts of questions, including "the" question. A great ice breaker. Have been at conferences where ladies I'd yet to meet passed me suggestive notes.

    Perhaps its because they've read those romance novels with kilted gents on the cover of the book.
    One lovely lady, some years ago, when it was time to advance our relationship said forcefully, "Leave the kilt on."

    Just isn't anything at all negative about kilts for single men. IF....a lady was put off by my being kilted I'd not have any interest in her anyway.
