Just to toss my cent and a half worth into the fray... I tried a pair of the ghillie brogues and found out very quickly that I can't (meaning won't) wear them. Anything tied around my ankle, even loosely, drives me even more nuts than I already am. Try a pair of corfams, I know ya got some.
