    Army kilts never have had loops. My kilts don't have them.

    A peeve of mine is people wearing belts under waistcoats, the waistcoat too short and the belt too low, so you see it peeking out.







    When they invented the Prince Charlie Coatee back around 1900 I wonder if they could have imagined what a travesty it would become. Here it is, worn as intended, back only 20 years after it was invented



    About the Golden Gate Bridge Effect that comes from years of belt-wearing with loops, there's an old Scottish gent who is always at our local Games who has the worst case I've ever seen. If only I could sneak up and take a photo of his backside! His kilt must be a couple inches lower in between the loops than the places the loops are at.
