    Peter,

I pulled out my fabric swatch books and this is what is listed under Morrison Green ancient colorway.

    And Urquhart, also ancient colorway.

Steve, that looks like what I've seen before as the Urquhart ancient with broad red. Does your swatch book show another another colorway for Urquhart with a white line?

Oh those sample books are so pristine and new!

I worked at a Highland outfitter and our sample books got endlessly fingered through both in the shop and out at Highland Games. They got pretty ratty after a few years.

Yes, that's the one! I believe (and of course could be wrong) that's Urquhart modern . . . right?

    Thanks again!

On the Scottish Register of Tartan this is no. 4431 and named simply Urquhart.

This is SRT #4429 and named Urquhart (Bydone)

    SRT #4433 labeled Urquhart (Logan)

    SRT #4432 named Urquhart (Fashion)

And # 4430 is called Urquhart (White Line)

Both 4431 and 623 are incorrect. I am working with the SRT to correct their many, many errors. Added these to the list.

Thank you for all your work in that regard.

It must be galling to see the same errors endlessly repeated.

The only solution I can think of is having a single accessible source that's been brought into line with the knowledge of the leading experts, which the weavers would use as their guide.
