That brown leather Day sporran is interesting due to the badge, one that I've never seen before. It has the look of a military badge but if so it's an unfamiliar one. I think it's yet another instance of the aftermarket sticking of badges on sporrans, something that's been the ruin of many an otherwise fine sporran.

Here's another brown Day sporran for a great price, unmarked but clearly a vintage Scottish-made item, probably made prior to the advent of press buttons.

and another brown Day sporran, said to be a Scout one though it's not the usual BS pattern, but rather a standard adult pattern. It's stamped RG Lawrie, pretty cool.

Sold within a couple of hours of being listed on ebay and bargain for whoever purchased them...👍

I have watched a number of quality sporrans sell on ebay that have sold for less than £25 and in my opinion worth way more.
Sellers who possibly find themselves with highland wear to sell but unaware of the value of their item do a quick ebay/google search!!!
They see similar Pakistani copies of their item selling new for £20 - £30 on Ebay and wrongly assume their used item us worth less!
Always better to list as an auction for 7 days or more and if what you are selling is quality it will find its level and true value.
